Annual Pre-Teen Miss Frederick County Fair Pageant

Contestant Requirements:
Pre-Teen Miss Contestants Must:
1.     Reside in Frederick County or the City of Winchester. Proof of Residency required: copy of utility bill with parent’s name and address.
2.     Be females, never married, and without children.
3.     Be between the ages of 10-12. Contestants must be at least 10 years of age by the time of the Little Miss Frederick County Fair pageant. Copy of Birth Certificate Required.
4.     Not engage or have engaged in any activities that are characterized as dishonest, immoral, or indecent. This includes social media and may be monitored by Directors. Any activities deemed inappropriate by Directors may result in the removal of the title or the inability to compete in the Scholarship pageant. If the title is removed for any reason, the first runner-up will then assume responsibilities and duties as assigned.
5.     Pay sponsorship fee of $40.00. This fee is non-refundable and can be paid via cash or certified check payable to the Frederick County Fair.
6.     Remain backstage without assistance from family or friends. There will be no one outside of pageant personnel and volunteers allowed backstage during rehearsal or the pageant. If there are any specific details or concerns that the pageant staff and/or volunteers need to know, please inform Director(s) of such at rehearsal.


In participating in the Pre-Teen Miss Frederick County Fair Pageant, contestants agree to the following if they are crowned the new Pre-Teen Miss Frederick County Fair.
1.     Attend and represent herself as an ambassador of the Fair three (3)  nights during the week. Nights to be chosen by Director(s).
2.     Represent the Frederick County Fair in parades and at appearances throughout her year-long reign as advised by Directors.
3.     Represent the Frederick County Fair by riding in the Apple Blossom Grand Feature Parade.
4.     Gain permission from Directors and Frederick County Fair Association before participating in any event as a representative of the Frederick County Fair. Additional entries and participation in other pageants must not interfere with the responsibilities set forth herein as Pre-Teen Miss Frederick County Fair.
5.     Crown the new queen at the 2024 Pre-Teen Miss Frederick County Fair Pageant.


Areas of Competition:
Contestants will be judged on a point system, based upon poise, personality, speaking ability, selection of dress, and overall appearance in the following areas:
1.     Age appropriate floor length pageant gown
2.     Natural with little to no makeup.
3.     30-Second Introduction
4.     On-Stage Question
5.  Optional Photogenic competition. Each contestant may enter up to two (2) photos. Each photo entry is $10.00. All photos must be received by rehearsal.


Awards Information
The Following will be Awarded:
●      First and second runner-up awards, in addition to crowning the new Pre-Teen Miss Frederick County Fair.
●      People’s Choice Award-winner will receive half of the monies taken in by votes at the pageant in addition to a trophy/medal.
●      Photogenic

Important Details/Dates:

The first twenty-five (25) contestants to submit their applications, with all necessary documents and sponsor fee, will be entered into
the Pre-Teen Miss Frederick County Fair Pageant.

Mandatory Rehearsal Saturday July 29, 2023 at 3:00PM on the South Lawn Stage
Pageant Sunday July 30, 2023 at 3:00PM on the South Lawn Stage
